UGA concert in SL

What a great SecondLife event hosted by the UGA New Media Institute:
Here's a chance for you all to experience SecondLife with a live concert featuring Allison Weiss. The concert will be live in SecondLife Tuesday, Nov. 13 at 6 p.m.

The next SecondLife concert will be on Nov. 19 with Blue Flashing Light at 6 p.m. Create an avatar and come to the shows!

Once you are at the Web site, you are instructed how to go about getting into SecondLife, creating an avatar, etc. The process has been simplified so that people aren't distracted too much by Second Life to actually enjoy the show.

Find out more about this event on Facebook.

I actually attended the first live concert featuring Allison Weiss, or Ally Dagger (her avatar name). Initially, there were some audio problems, but it turned out to be a great show! It's amazing how you can attend a concert from your own home...I must say it is very convenient. SecondLife even allows you to download dance moves and chat with others at the show. Boy was I getting down! I highly recommend you attend the next performance...it is quite an experience.
